Message from Swadlincote Youth For Christ   Exciting News – Our Youth Work Is Growing!

We are delighted to share some wonderful news and give thanks and praise to God for the continued growth of our work with young people in  the local community.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our supporters, together with funding received through grants, Helen and Alice will both be increasing their hours, enabling us to reach and support even more young people. Helen and Alice will continue their valuable work within our local secondary schools, building relationships with young people and providing a trusted and supportive presence. Unite Youth Club will also continue, with exciting plans to expand and continue to develop.

We are also thrilled to announce a new weekly Youth Café, which will be held at the Salvation Army Café in Church Gresley, beginning Tuesday 6^th October. This will provide another welcoming and safe space where young people can meet, build friendships and find encouragement and support. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who has supported this work through donations, grants, prayer, encouragement and practical help. Your generosity is allowing this work not simply to continue, but to grow.

As we enter this exciting new chapter, we praise God for His provision and pray that He will continue to guide Helen and Alice and open new doors to reach young people across our community.

We would like to invite you to be part of our 40 days of prayer which will begin on 21^st September. Last year we were so encouraged and blessed from the season of prayer that we want to take this opportunity to give thanks and praise for what God has been doing in the centre as well as pray for the future of SDYFC and local young people.
