What a Wonderful World

Saturday 26th April is the next Messy Church, where we shall discover more about the wonder of God by considering “What a wonderful world” we live in.

From the Old Testament part of the Bible, Psalm 148 talks at length about the whole of creation offering praise to God;  “Praise the Lord from the heavens… Praise the Lord from the earth, you great sea creatures and all ocean depths”.  Essentially from the highest of heights to the depths of the sea God’s wonder is apparent.

At Messy Church we shall be exploring just some of these wonders, and doing some fantastic crafts including making a bird feeder, printing with fruit and vegetables, and making pen holders from recycled pots. We shall then have an opportunity to go into church and do some fabulous dancing and singing, including learning the words of the Messy Church theme tune which you’ll have heard at the start of the sessions if you’ve been before.

We then join together for a home-cooked meal, a fantastic opportunity to sit, eat and chat.

Let me know if you would like to come, so we can cater enough food and craft materials for everyone. wendy@whiten.co.uk or 07738 428634.

Messy Church takes place between 3.45 and 6pm at the Community Rooms of St. Georges Church, Church Gresley on the last Saturday of every month.
