Dear Church Gresley

As I walk around our village I see many lovely examples of Christmas lights and decs. These brighten up the nighttime and bring some ‘warmth’ into the cold night air. As we approach the most Holy of nights let us remember a single star that led a group of immigrants on camelback and a rowdy bunch of illiterate shepherds to be the first worshippers and believers of the child who came to save the world, not to condemn it. Know this: Jesus would have came to earth even if you were the only person on it.
